Dinosaur National Monument

Terry and I said goodbye to our dear friends in Palisade today. Luckily, everything went smoothly with the toad. The drive to Utah was beautiful. Douglas Pass was scary. Lots of switchbacks and narrow road.

We drove through the town (blink it's gone) of Dinosaur.

It's great that Terry has the Parks pass (I call it the old man pass). We get free entry and 1/2 price camping. That means 9$ per night. Yay!

The weather is hot and sunny but it cools off nicely after 5:00 p.m. Finally, we finished setting up camp, and we are enjoying a cold beer.
