Now that PeeWee has 6 brand new tires and a few other repairs, I’m feeling relieved that this experience is behind us. While PeeWee was in the shop, Terry and I took the Toad with our bicycles and went to the lovely town of Coeur d’Alene. It has around 44,000 people and is located on a large lake. Mountains surround the entire area.
The town is very quaint, with a Lake Geneva kind of vibe. We were told that the population during the summer triples. I can see why.
It’s always fun to see this conversation starter.
Yesterday we played a golf course called Circling Raven. My front 9 was NOT good. But I had fun! Terry did really well. At least I rallied on the back 9.
After golf, we went into the casino (hell) and I won $9.60 playing Jacks or Better. We stayed for Crabfest. I’m not a fan of all you can eat buffets. Especially when I have to see piles of crab shells. Some people made sure they got their money’s worth. 🦀
We are headed north today. The wind has picked up, so I’m hoping it won’t affect our travel. We should be in Canada in a couple of days.
