Kootenay National Park

Driving PeeWee takes a toll on Terry. We have a limit of the number of miles we drive in a day. It’s usually something around 200. We made it to Redstreak Mountain campground just in time for some wildlife!

Pretty cool, eh? This national park is beautiful! There is so much to see and to do; that is if you like nature and the great outdoors.

The fire ban is still in effect for this park, but Banff has lifted theirs. We will surely enjoy our fire tomorrow. Especially with nighttime temps in the 30’s. I’ve been making dinners on the stove, like linguini and white clam sauce and shrimp stir fry. Terry got the oven to work, so I made spicy stuffed peppers. I’m feeling lucky that I have these conveniences. But oh, I miss my long, hot showers in Longmont…
