Winthrop, Washington

One great thing about playing golf in the mountains is that you can enjoy beautiful views. A not so great thing is that playing a bad round can make you not give a crap about those views. Terry and I (or my evil twin) played a round at Bear Creek. It’s a weird little course. You play the same 9 holes twice, just from different tees.

Terry had some encouragement from a furry friend:

The town of Winthrop is modeled like an old west town. Ok, I know there wasn’t a gas station back in the old days, but these gas pumps fit the style better than any.

It’s fun to enjoy a cold drink in a saloon. I’m taking a break from golf for now.
