Whidbey Island

The past few days have been really nice. I have certainly appreciated having a kitchen and a shower available 24/7. I must say the most memorable experience has been spending time with our niece Melissa Mongoven.

Melissa is a remarkable woman. She is beautiful in all ways. Conversation with her is easy and meaningful. Her smile lights up the room, and her comments are honest and forthright. I certainly have enjoyed the company of this very special female.

Whidbey Island is bursting with the final blooms of the season. Luckily, weather has been sunny and cool. Check out these flowers from the garden:

And the view from the deck:

Terry and I are ready to move on. We are planning to put PeeWee and the Toad on the ferry to Port Townsend. 😳

hough I'm smiling, I'm feeling lots of emotions, many of which are forms of sadness and confusion. I still have faith in humanity and the positive energy that surrounds us. Let's spread love and compassion. ❤️
